Terramundi Money Pots are hand thrown on a wheel at a small, family run pottery in Umbria, Italy, and based on a design that’s been unchanged for over 2000 years. Hand painted and personalized in England, they make the perfect gift for any occasion.

Tradition

Once the first coin is dropped, the money pot must be fed until full upon which it must be smashed whilst making a wish! It is customary to replace the money pot and to spend the money on good things. If broken carefully, money pots are sometimes used to house plants and candles. Money pots bring good fortune. There is a fortune coin inside each money pot and a date and desire card to insert when you begin saving. Money post can hold up to $500 in nickels, dimes and quarters.
